Outfit: Tighnari's outfit consists of a cropped dark blue hoodie with black strings, yellow trim, and red and green details. A large yellow flower adorns his right side, and then a silver badge with a green tassel on his left side. The left sleeve of his hoodie is short, decorated with a singular green leaf, and stops just above his elbow, while the right sleeve is tight and reaches until his wrists. The right of his hoodie also has a long piece of pleated white fabric with a colorful pattern that stretches down until his upper thigh. On both wrists, Tighnari wears large black cuffs, gold trinkets, and a pair of black and orange gloves.

Under this, Tighnari wears a long white tunic with a thick purple belt with numerous blue and purple ropes and other multicolored trinkets attached, along with a large purple pocket on one side and two round pins where his Dendro Vision hangs. He wears a pair of ankle-length black pants with a pleated dark blue and red overcoat, cuffs, and laced white and blue boots with green stripes. Tighnari also sports a green half-cape attached to a large gold trinket on his back.

Role: Familiar
Role Qualities/Attributes: Given that Tighnari already has animal features, what he manifests as a Familiar wouldn't be immediately apparent once he has some control over it. However, the traits he would initial manifest would be those of a nine tailed kitsune.
Role Reasoning: Tighnari, while a good person at heart with the best interest of those around him in mind, also tends to tread the path of the morally grey as far as the conventions of his home country are concerned. A renowned scholar of the Sumeru Akademiya, he engages in activities which deliberately go against the rules set out by the organisation because he believes that there are better ways to do things. He's very aware that this could get him into trouble and simply does not care! What are they doing to do? Arrest him? Given his self-professed lack of 'greater troubles' this role would allow him to stretch more into a grey area and play more with stretching the rules, while he would be somewhat baffled about being put into a 'Legend' or 'Myth' role and would struggle with the idea of being so solidly one or the other.

What is the most important and defining relationship(s) in your character's life and why?

At his current point in life, Tighnari's most important relationship is undoubtedly his one with the General Mahamatra of Sumeru - a young man named Cyno. Tasked with tracking down anyone who commits crimes against the Akademiya, Cyno's suspicion of Tighnari was raised due to his rapidly rising popularity amongst the other students (even those who were not in his field of study) giving the unfortunate impression that he was trying to stir up academic corruption by forming factions within the Akademiya. After some tracking and study, however, Cyno quickly surmised that Tighnari had no eyes for anything but his work and deemed him not a threat. It could have been left here, but Cyno uncharacteristically let down his guard around this young scholar who had given him such a pure impression of intent, and the two became fast friends. This friendship, once Tighnari graduated and left the Akademiya, would allow him a certain amount of unfettered freedom not enjoyed by other scholars. While always under the watchful eye of the matra, Tighnari's friendship with Cyno allows him to be somewhat emboldened out amongst the Forest Watchers and he often lightly breaks the rules of the Akademiya (for example, handing information out to the other Forest Watchers). It also gives him some insight into Cyno's motivations and missions that others would not be so fortunate to receive. In a country where one can be arrested and tried for crimes against academics and learning, what would be a more important friendship than with the very person who deals out those judgements?

What is your character's moral code? Do they have one? Why or why not?

Tighnari certainly has a moral code, and not one that is particularly difficult to parse. He believes in freedom of opportunity and freedom of information, at least when it comes to academics, and is highly principled when it comes to keeping other people safe. Though he waves aside any attempts to give him any kind of leadership title he knows that all of the other Forest Watchers look up to him and this is something that he takes very seriously - they put their lives in his hands, and it's down to him to keep them safe. Though, he isn't all sweetness and light. Tighnari does not struggle with turning to more unconventional or underhanded means to achieve things if he needs to and he is not opposed to keeping secrets when necessary. If it's for the greater good, then sometimes sacrifices of moral integrity must be made...

What does your character feel like they struggle with still? Where could they improve? This could be physically, mentally, emotionally, or otherwise.

Though he is a scholar, and a graduated one, Tighnari would always say that he could stand to learn more. Though he isn't above launching into the occasional lecture (he once taught at the Akademiya, too) he always means well, and he's always open to getting more information about subjects he knows less about (or even those he does, if new developments come along). Though this isn't something that might be viewed as a struggle by someone else, with Tighnari's position in the Forest Watchers and the dangers that come with living in the Avidya Forest, keeping your knowledge up to date and fresh in the front of your mind is a vital thing. Additionally, the current spread of a 'rot' across the forest known as the Withering is something that currently escapes his abilities to either study or cure... something that certainly troubles him, as it poses a danger to Forest Watchers and travellers alike.

What is your character's safespace? When do they feel the most settled and comfortable? When do they feel confident and relaxed?

Given his heightened senses, Tighnari is most comfortable in places where it's quiet. No more so than in his home in Gandharva Ville, far enough away from the bustle of Sumeru City that he doesn't need to cover his ears just to get some peace. This is also where he works, directing the Forest Watchers with structured patrols and logs, and where he watches over a young girl called Collei, who was sent to him from Mondstadt some time ago. Gandharva Ville is not only his safe space, a place of comfort and security, it is also ostensibly the centre of Tighnari's domain. Although he does refuse a title he is undeniably the Forest Watcher's 'leader', and their confidence in him further inspires his own. The village is also somewhere he is able to relax, since its location in the forest means it is rarely noisy... though those relaxing times are occasionally interrupted by Sages from the Akademiya showing up on his doorstep to try to bully him into returning to the city for one reason or another. Tighnari, though... is not someone who is afraid of the word 'no'.
